No strike deal

Question by Valerie Shawcross
On a scale of 0-10 how would you assess your progress on negotiating no strike deals with Tube unions? (Where 0 is nothing achieved at all and 10 = a no strike deal has been agreed and fully implemented)
Answer by Boris Johnson (1st Term)
Attempting to reduce complex negotiations to a simplistic and artificial numerical scale is not appropriate. However, it is worth reiterating that this is an objective that remains worth pursuing, at the right time.
The situation at present is that TfL has had discussions with each of the four transport trade unions, and they have clarified their position on such a proposal.
